With Minister for Digital Government and Minister for Emergency Services, The Hon. Jihad Dib, looking on, Darren Besgrove, Good to Go Director, accepted the award from NSW Government CIO, Laura Christie. He praised the collaboration between Good To Go and the organisations that made this possible including the Office of the NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer, Fire and Rescue NSW, NSW Rural Fire Service along with fellow Central Coast IoT specialist 4ID Solutions.
After the event, Darren Besgrove said “It’s fantastic for us to win this important AIIA award and it shows that whilst glamorous technologies like AI and drones are important, there are still massive practical operational and safety improvements that can be realised by leveraging available technologies for this critical and asset intensive sector.
Fellow Director at Good To Go, Alan Williams, continued on, “Great to hear Minister Dib speaking about managing infrastructure and assets better. You can’t manage what you don’t measure, so making equipment more visible so those assets can be used more effectively and efficiently, like we’ve just proven with NSW Fire and Rescue, should become a model for all government assets.”
Good To Go now look ahead to the next 3 months where they will contest the national iAwards as well as the Australian Technologies Competition (ATC), and exhibit at the Interschultz AFAC 24 event in early September at the ICC Sydney.

About Good To Go
Good To Go is focused on enhancing appliance and equipment readiness for first responders.
Good To Go's solutions include real-time and point-in-time asset visibility, readiness reporting and operational inspections with service/requisition forms and approval workflow. Our solutions save time and remove mundane tasks from front-line workers, while also integrating with existing asset management products to streamline the operational aspects of managing and maintaining equipment.
Good To Go addresses 3 unique problems:
All Good To Go solutions can work in conjunction with one another or be implemented as standalone solutions.
Good To Go ‘Ready’ is an instant manifest verification service that scans RFID tagged assets, instantly compares results against a manifest & provides confirmation that a vehicle has its full complement of equipment.
Good To Go ‘Inspex’ is a customisable operational checklist that can work on any mobile or tablet device and focuses on that equipment that has a set schedule for its servicing or inspections. It also provides for automated issue reporting and service/requisition requests.
Good To Go ‘Locate’ is a real-time asset visibility solution that employs readers within stations, depots or vehicles to confirm asset presence, or ‘last seen’ time if it was moved out of reader range.
